Delete Your Account

You can ask us to delete your Board Game Ranker account and its data at any time, even if you no longer have access to the app. Tell us your account email or username. If you contact us outside the app, we confirm the request from the email address on file for your account before we act on it. We complete it within 30 days.

What's deleted and what we keep

Once we act on your request, we permanently delete the following from our live database: your account identity, rankings, ratings, advanced ratings, awards, collections and share links, published rankings, Rankings Deck participation and invite handles, friends list, BGG scoring formats, and BoardGameGeek connection. A copy may stay in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before it is purged. Authentication credentials and session tokens are never backed up. Stripe and Google Play keep any payment records they hold under their own retention rules. Your username isn't reserved after deletion, so someone else may claim it.

Active subscriptions

Do you have an active Google Play subscription? Cancel it yourself in Google Play first, because deleting your account doesn't cancel it. When we act on your request, we cancel any active Stripe subscription for you.
